New game DEO comes to iOS

DEO, the dark but strangely plucky game from Strapped to a Meteor, is out on iOS and looking kinda neat. In this game you must jump your little red ball to every hill on a planet in order to “claim” it, and once you’ve completed an entire level you can then build a planet. The better you do during the level, the more fruitful your planet is. No, I don’t think I totally get it either… but then in 2009 I was the guy saying “Plants versus zombies? How does THAT work?”

DEO also offers sweet visuals that you won’t find in a lot of other games: Beautiful backgrounds and ambient, dark environments with an organic flair. Here are a few of the features to look forward to:

– 2 vast worlds, 90 challenging levels + 6 bonus levels
– Immersive main menu and gameplay
– Perform epic jumps and skillful landings
– Intuitive tap anywhere controls
– Surreal art design
– Retina display supported

Go ahead and grab it at the App Store for $0.99 if you like that kinda thing.
