Why not buy an iPhone 4 case made from skateboards?

I’m always on the prowl for new iPhone 4 cases that look stunning and provide a unique flare. I hate having the same case as everyone else out there.

Today I stumbled across a limited edition iPhone 4 case made out of reclaimed skateboards. The cases were put together by Lindsay Jo Holmes’s mapleXO over the course of a year. The process involved stripping 300 skateboards into slices, gluing them together, and then cutting iPhone cases out of the blocks.

The results are simple stunning. There only appears to be five left for sale on eBay, so if you’re interested in buying one, I’d recommending going to do it right now.

The cases cost 200.00, and 50% of the proceeds will be given to the Oregon Humane Society.
