Apple Releases (PRODUCT) RED Bumper For iPhone 4/4S

Along with the other six color options for iPhone 4/4S bumpers, Apple has now added a (PRODUCT) RED bumper option. Its appearance is identical to that of the other colors, but the (PRODUCT) RED bumper represents much more.

Apple has had a longstanding relationship with the charity, which raises money to fight AIDS in Africa. Various Apple products come in the color red to support (PRODUCT) RED, like the iPod Nano, iPad Smart Case and more.

It seems odd that Apple would release a new case just before the new iPhone is released. Maybe this is just a sign that the iPhone 4 and 4S will be sticking around for a little while longer, and hopefully at cheaper prices.

Bumpers were first launched alongside the iPhone 4 in 2010 and were updated for compatibility in 2011, so the only question is, why did it take Apple so long (over 26 months) to add a (PRODUCT) RED bumper to this product line?

If you want to support the effort to eliminate AIDS and raise awareness of the issue, you can now get the latest Apple (PRODUCT) RED bumper in the Apple Store for $29.00.
