AppCubby is no longer. Well, at least not under the same banner as they were previously. David Barnard took to Twitter to announce that the company — makers of Launch Center Pro, Trip Cubby, and Gas Cubby — has decided to change its name. AppCubby is now Contrast. Additionally, Gas Cubby has been rebranded and taken over by Andy Robinowitz and renamed to Fuelly.
I’ve used all three of those apps pretty religiously over the years. I’d be pretty lost without Gas Cubby and Trip Cubby. My piece of crap car would be in worse condition than it already is at this point. It’ll be interesting to see what Fuelly becomes in the coming months.
From the sounds of it, Barnard’s Perfect Weather app should be here pretty quickly too. We’ve attached the video above…
