Rumor: Commadant Jobs might make iPad 2 announcement tomorrow

There are a lot of rumors floating around the internet today about the announcements tomorrow, but one stands above the others: apparently Steve Jobs might not only be at the big event, but he might also be hosting the big event.

We’re a little taken back by the rumor, and we’re probably not alone in making the assumption that Apple would send out Tim Cook or Phil Schiller for the big event. They’ve both hosted press events in the past. Recently Cook represented Apple at the Verizon iPhone event, and Schiller has been a large part of Apple announcements for a number of years now.

This particular rumor is coming from setteB.IT, which we’ve never heard of until today, so take this one for what you will.

While we’d love to see Jobs on stage commanding the troops again, we wouldn’t mind if Jobs decided to take it easy this time around.
