The shipping dates for the iPad 3, now known as the new iPad, have begun slipping online already. It’s not just Apple’s online pre-ordering system that’s showing the slipping dates either. AT&T has already sold out of the 16GB and 64GB versions of the new iPad.
With the new iPad set to go on sale on March 16th, customers will be able to pick up the device in stores while supplies last. Apple has noted online that “limited quantities” will be available for the new iPad. We recommend pre-ordering the new iPad as fast as possible if you’re hoping to get in on the launch day action.
