According to a new report by Barclays Capital, Apple’s tablet is due to do quite well in 2011. The firm is estimating 47 million tablets will be sold in 2011, including 33.7 million iPads.

The group also notes that the iPad is doing well in the enterprise, through a phenomenon called “consumerization.” In short, workers are getting more say in the devices they can use in an enterprise environment. With things like Exchange support and device encryption, Apple’s iOS devices meet far less criticism than they used to in corporate IT offices.
