Tomb Raider: Underworld Launching On OS X This Month

Tomb

Good news for the loyal fans of Lara Croft. Tomb Raider: Underworld is about to make its way onto Mac OS X.

Aspyr GameAgent:

Lara Croft is going to be once again gracing us with her presence on the Mac with her bodacious body. Feral Interactive announced today that they will be bringing Tomb Raider: Underworld to the Mac platform on Thursday, May 31st, 2012[…] Tomb Raider: Underworld will be available for pre-order soon at the GameAgent Store[…]

While not every game in the franchise has been superb, the recent titles have certainly been warmly received. For example, the Windows version of “Underworld” is sitting at a respectable 80 percent on Metacritic. Provided this is a solid port at a reasonable price, this is good news to Mac gamers. Both of those remain to be seen, but you’ll be sure that we’ll be complaining loudly if we get a crappy WINE port at a $50.00 USD asking price.

In the meanwhile, you can get your Tomb Raider on by delving into the classic Tomb Raider II for only $7.99 USD in the Mac App Store. Ah, nostalgic polygonal curves.
