LEGO Star Wars Saga

Relive all six Star Wars movies in LEGO form! Yes, six movies. The prequels do count, you haters. You get to play as all of the major characters (and even some minor characters), and enjoy a humorous take on the series we love so much without George’s Fozzie Bear-like sensibilities. The graphics have even been updated since the original release, so it’ll look really nice on your big honking iMac. All six chapters are in this game for only $19.99 USD on the Mac App Store.

LEGO Star Wars III: The Clone Wars

The movies weren’t enough for you, eh? Well, how about playing through the Clone Wars? Based on the popular animated kids show on the Cartoon Network, this game will keep you slicing battle droids and defeating Sith Lords until the cows come home. It’s priced at $19.99 USD in the App Store, so you can get both LEGO Star Wars games for well under the original price of just the first three chapters.

Keep in mind, both games are quite big, five to seven gigs each, and they really should be run on a Mac with a dedicated graphics card. MacBook Pros, iMacs, and Mac Pros should easily run these, but only fairly recent Airs and Mac Minis have the graphical horse power. Make sure to double check the system requirements before you pull the trigger.
