Do you like Angry Birds? Do you like Green Day? Well, you’re in luck. The team-up nobody has been waiting for is finally here: Green Day and Angry Birds.
The Green Day episode comprises 10 levels in the Facebook game, including pig characters based on the three band members: Billie Joe Armstrong, Mike Dirnt and Tre Cool. The band’s new single Oh Love features in the game, alongside an additional, exclusive track called Troublemaker. More music and levels will follow later in the Autumn, as Green Day release three albums – Uno, Dos and Tre – in four months.
If you just can’t get enough Angry Birds, and you’d like to try out this bizarre team-up, you can head on over to the Angry Birds Facebook game, and play through these levels until the cows come home. Now the only question we have to answer is who is selling out the hardest: the band or the developers?
If you can’t hold back your desire to play new Angry Birds levels, just remember that the Facebook app is granted permission to post to your timeline. If you want to make sure you don’t spam your friends, follow these steps:
- Go to privacy settings
- Edit settings for Ads, Apps and Websites
- Edit Angry Birds Friends
- Under the “Posts on your behalf” section, select “Only Me”
If you insist, have some Green Day-themed fun, but remember to turn off that annoying spam for the sake of your friends! They’ll thank you later.
