EA Announces New iOS Games: FIFA 2013, Real Racing 3, and Talking Zombatar

PVZ

Today at EA’s Summer Showcase, the company announced a few new games for iOS. If you’ve been looking for rehashes of existing franchises, you’re in for some excitement.

Talking Zombatar

Everyone loves Plants Vs. Zombies, right? Sure. It’s beloved by us all! Wouldn’t it be great if you could have a Tamagotchi-style pet zombie? What’s that? You don’t want that? You say nobody has ever wanted that? Well, you’re probably right, but at least this will be free on iOS.

Realracing

Real Racing 3

You played Real Racing 1, and you shelled out more money for Real Racing 2, but what about MORE RACING?! Well, okay. If that is what tickles your pickle, they’re touting real tracks (Laguna Seca, Silver Stone, etc.), a twenty-two car grid, and the addition of Porsche, Audi, and Dodge cars.

FIFA

FIFA ’13

If you love soccer, you’re probably not from the United States. If you are from somewhere else, you probably care a lot about this sport, and EA knows that you’ll give them money. This year’s incarnation features online gameplay using Origin as the friend-finding backend. From Mexico to Spain, you can pretend you’re good at sports. If you want to show off how good you are at video games to impress the opposite gender, you can now upload your replays directly to YouTube to help advertise the game.

All in all, they continue to ship the same things they shipped last year.
