BioShock 2 Now Available On The Mac App Store

Those fine cats over at Feral Interactive have brought BioShock 2 to the Mac. If you haven’t already worked your way through Rapture, you’re going to want to head over to the Mac App Store to pick up the game for $30.99.

Originally developed by 2K Marin for the major consoles (Xbox 360, PS 3, and PC) back in February 2010, BioShock 2 takes place eight (1968) years after the first version of the game. The Mac edition of the game brings with it a completely new multiplayer game, called The Fall of Rapture, where players are able to partake in the civil war that tore Rapture apart in the beginning.

The minimum requirements for the game include:

  • Mac OS X 10.7.2,
  • A 2GHz Intel CPU,
  • 4 GB of RAM
  • 10GB of Hard Disk Space
  • And a graphics card that is NOT an ATI X1xxx series, ATI HD2xxx series, NVIDIA 9400, NVIDIA 7xxx series or Intel GMA series card.

There goes playing on my new MacBook Air, drats.
