Fluent News gets fluent…with news

The Fluent News app brings you all the news you need to know…sort of. It pulls the most recent news stories into one easy feed of

headlines, coming from Reuters, Fox, ABC, Washington Post, NPR, BBC, etc. So, anything that happens internationally, you’ll know about! You can search for your news by inputting keywords, search by section (i.e. Business, Weather, Entertainment, etc), save articles of interest, and also share articles through Facebook or Twitter.

    What I love

I love that all the news from every source is in one location – it makes it handy to not only find all the top stories, but also get more than one angle for major stories. I also love that I can search by section – if I just want to see what’s going on in the business world, that’s all I need to see! I also like the integration aspect to social networks – saves me from tweeting an interesting story on my own.

    What I don’t love

One thing I’d like to see from this app is geo-specific news. As a Canadian, more specifically in Ottawa, I’d like to see some Canadian news, or even articles from Ottawa Citizen, or National Post. All the big American networks are on here, but I get enough of that from basic cable. Give me something a little more personalized.

Overall it’s a great app. It’s free, so there’s no reason not to download it – the only thing you’ll be is a little more informed.
