Flickr Find Friday: The Sexy Air

When the first MacBook Air was released back in 2008, it was sexy. Unfortunately, its biggest hard drive was a 80GB 4200 RPM PATA drive, it only had one USB port, no optical drive, it was a slower processor, and it cost more than a much better equipped MacBook Pro. I had a weird déjà vu of the ill-fated G4 Cube. Luckily Apple didn’t give up on this sexy little — do I dare say? — beast. Luckily, with the July 2011 upgrade, Apple ditched the Core 2 Duo and introduced the i5 and i7 into both the 11-inch and 13-inch models of the MacBook Air. If you’re going to go with an Air, go big as you can’t upgrade them after (well, not easily). Thank you Nicky Colman for posting this to our Macgasm Flickr group!
