Firmware update for those trackpad issues.

Remember those complaints about the trackpad issues in the new macbook and macbook pro line? Well, it seems like Apple has finally pieced together a solution and has issued a firmware update via the software update tool.

“This firmware update addresses an issue where trackpad clicks may not be recognized on MacBook (Late 2008) and MacBook Pro (Late 2008) systems.

The update package will install an updater application into the Applications/Utilities folder and will launch it automatically.

Follow the instructions in the updater application to complete the update process.”

I’d test it out, but haven’t upgraded yet, so let us know how the update goes in the comments.
