YouTube Flashback: The Lisa

The Apple Lisa was the company’s first foray into a computer with a graphical user interface. It shipped with a mouse, cooperative multitasking, word processing and several other features that were a major leap past other personal computers at the time — including the Apple II.

The project started in 1978, and shipped in 1983, but was quickly eclipsed by the smaller, cheaper Macintosh.
