US Appeals Court Overturns Samsung Galaxy Nexus Injunction

The Galaxy Nexus injunction in the U.S. has been overturned by an appeals court today. In injunction, handed out by U.S. District Court Judge Lucy Koh during the Apple vs. Samsung trial, has been overturned. The temporary sales ban on Samsung’s Galaxy Nexus smartphone is no longer in place.

The appeals court has found that “the district court abused its discretion in enjoining the sales of the Galaxy Nexus.” As a result, the ruling has been reversed and remanded.

Should you feel the need to read the entire court document regarding the reversal of the injunction, you can get it here. Be warned, it’s seventeen pages long and full of legalese.

We’ll keep an eye on this one as more information comes in…
