iPhone 3GS Gets Shared Photo Streams, VIP Mail In iOS 6 Beta 3

It seems like some of the better parts of iOS 6 may be making their way to the iPhone 3GS after all. With the release of iOS 6 beta 3, it looks like Apple has decided to bring Shared Photo Streams and VIP Mail to iPhone 3GS users.

While the OS is still in beta, and either feature could be pulled by the time iOS 6 goes live, there’s a pretty good chance that the functionality will be around for the long haul.

Shared Photo Streams

In iOS 6 users have the ability to create new Photo Streams to share with specific friends and family. The stream is manually managed, so you’ll have to add photos manually, but it automatically filters photos to those who have agreed to be included in your Photo Stream. It makes it a lot easier to share photos with friends and family.

VIP Mail

Adding people to a VIP list will guarantee that email messages from your favorite and most important people will never get lost in the shuffle again. It’ll certainly help in keeping important information in front of you as you traverse your spam riddled inbox.
