New Assassin’s Creed Game Coming To iOS

Ubisoft and GREE are partnering up to release Assassin’s Creed Utopia for iOS. Touchgen caught up with Ubisoft at E3, and the company spilled the beans. According to Touchgen, the game will take place in the 16th century, a time before Assassin’s Creed 3, and during the period of US colonization:

Again, details on the gameplay itself were not revealed, but like all Assassin’s games it will feature a strong narrative. What we were told is that it won’t be a card game (which many of GREE’s titles on show at E3 were). It’s being developed internally at Ubisoft and under the watchful eye of the Assassin’s Creed brand team – to ensure quality and continuity to other games in the series – so the key message from the meeting is that this will be a quality product that will appeal to AC fans.

There aren’t many details, and information is sparse, but we’ll be sure to keep our eyes open for more information regarding the game, and the partnership between Ubisoft and GREE.
