Apple's Brand Value Continues To Rise

Even though Apple’s stock price hasn’t been doing the best over the past month, Apple’s brand value has continued to rise. Brand Finance has priced Apple’s brand value at a cool $87 billion, up from $70 billion last time it was appraised. Apple continues to top rival Samsung in terms of brand value. Samsung’s brand is currently worth roughly $58 billion.

Brand Finance’s CEO David Haigh said the following on Apple and Samsung’s brand value:

With revenues in the tens of billions, Apple and Samsung are slugging it out for global brand supremacy and are vying with each other to create strong ‘customer love’ for their brands. However, there are other brands in the Global 500 that though they may never challenge the brand value giants, are nonetheless extremely powerful and well-loved.

Apple, however, wasn’t named the world’s most powerful brand. This time around, Ferrari, the luxury automaker, somehow topped both Apple and Samsung as the world’s most powerful brand. Apple’s brand rating was also slightly downgraded as it dropped from an AAA+ to an AAA, though this probably won’t mean much to the company in the long run  Or at all, considering these ratings don’t mean a thing, or benefit the company in any tangible way.
