Apple Stores will close briefly tomorrow for Steve Jobs memorial

It has already been two weeks since the world lost a visioner, a genius, a game changer. As reported by Reuters, tomorrow, Wednesday October 19, Apple plans to reinforce why we loved Steve Jobs so much with a special memorial. To honor such an occasion, Apple Stores will be closed for at least one hour.

Such an action is expected out of respect. Also, this will give retail workers a chance to take part in the event. The memorial will take place from 10:00 to 11:30am PST. This event follows the private memorial service that was recently held at Stanford University. California Apple Retail Stores are said to not be accepting reservations for tomorrow morning coinciding with this time frame. Later tomorrow, international Apple Stores will be able to view a re-broadcast of the memorial.

As Apple CEO Tim Cook put it in an email to staff, the event is “to take time to remember the incredible things Steve achieved in his life and the many ways he made our world a better place.” RIP Steve.
