During the developer testing of iOS 6 back in July, Apple revealed that it would be launching new iCloud.com email addresses for those using the service and that former MobileMe members using me.com or mac.com addresses would also receive the same iCloud.com addresses.
The new iCloud email addresses have been rolling out over the past few weeks for former MobileMe members, and today, Apple has begun sending out notification emails to more iCloud users letting them now that an iCloud email has been reserved and is now ready to access. Apple has provided a page on their website with instructions for switching iCloud email addresses.
Can we just say:
Dear Apple, pick a damn URL for your email system and stick with it already. This is getting absurd. I have like seven Apple IDs now.
