Apple And Starbucks Partner With RED With An eGift Basket

Apple has recently partnered with both Starbucks and RED to offer a gift basket that helps fight AIDS. RED, an organization that gives money to help fight AIDS in Africa, has announced that both Apple and Starbucks have created an eGift basket that includes both a $15 iTunes gift card as well as a $15 Starbucks gift card. Five percent of each purchased eGift basket is given to RED’s efforts. You can purchase one of these gift baskets via Starbucks’ website until December 31st. As of now, all gifts are delivered via email.

Both Apple and Starbucks have had strong relationships with RED over the past few years. Apple currently offers numerous RED edition products such as RED iPods, Smart Covers and iPhone Bumpers, which all give a portion of profits to RED. Starbucks currently offers RED coffee tumblers, gift cards and other products.

This isn’t the first time we’ve seen Apple and Starbucks work together. Starbucks offers weekly free iTunes downloads via codes that can be picked up at almost any Starbucks location in the United States. These codes can be redeemed for free music, apps or videos, whichever happens to be offered that week. All of these partnerships truly show how Starbucks is the Apple of coffee.
