Apple Accepting Donations For Sandy Relief Through iTunes

Apple has created a new page in the iTunes Store that accepts donation for Hurricane Sandy relief. Apple has partnered with the American Red Cross to offer an easy way to donate to relief efforts. The page is accessible through the iTunes Store’s main page and App Store apps in iOS.

This isn’t the first time that Apple has opened a page for disaster relief donations with the Red Cross. This time Apple has set up pre-set donation options, ranging from $5 to $200.One hundred percent of donations go directly to the Red Cross, and billing will go directly to your iTunes Store accounts, since Apple is not sharing personal information with the Red Cross.

According to CNN, there have been at least 33 deaths in the wake of Hurricane Sandy and millions are still without power. If you want to help with disaster relief then head over to iTunes to donate what you can.
