Apple Building A New Datacenter Right Beside Facebook

When everyone said Apple was going to be joining Facebook in Prineville, Oregon, with its new datacenter, we had no idea they meant that they would be opening up shop right across the street from Facebook.

New photos have been published on Wired, which managed to take to the sky (seriously) and snap a few pictures of Apple’s new $68 million dollar data center. Talk about dedicated journalism.

We’ve only attached one of the photo sets. You should really head over there and check out the rest. It’s pretty crazy how close the two companies actually are in Prineville. We hope no one else in the area needs electricity, like ever again…
