Adobe Creative Suite 6 Now Shipping And Available For Purchase

Adobe Creative Suite 6 (CS 6) is now available for purchase, and has begun shipping to customers. All of your favorite Adobe applications have received some pretty hefty upgrades, including InDesign, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, Premiere Pro, After Effects and Flash Professional, as well as new programs such as Prelude and SpeedGrade.

Adobe’s new and somewhat controversial subscription based model will not be available until May 11th. So, if you’re looking to pay a monthly fee for the service, you’re out of luck for a couple more days.

Along with some pretty major performance boosts, the new lineup includes enhanced user interfaces, simpler workflows, and a streamlined approach to content creation, making the upgrade pretty enticing to anyone who spends hours in a major Creative Suite application on a daily basis.

The Design Standard collection is priced at $1299, and the Master Collection, which includes all CS6 applications, is priced at $2599. If you’re looking to do a per month payment plan you have two options: $49.99 per month on an annual commitment or $74.99 for month-to-month access to the applications. One perk to the monthly plan system is that you’ll have access to all the new apps and features as Adobe rolls them out to customers.
