Apple has released iTunes 11.3 and Apple TV Software Update 6.2, bringing revamped iTunes Extras to iTunes and the Apple TV.
Extras can include behind-the-scenes video content, director’s commentary, short films, and other high-quality content bundled with HD movies purchased on the iTunes Store. As they become available, iTunes Extras will be added to previously purchased content free of charge.
It’s a huge update, considering people have been asking for the ability to view Extras on the Apple TV for years.
Oh, iOS users will also be able to view iTunes Extras content when iOS 8 is released this fall.
