iTunes Movie Trailers App Gets Better Rotten Tomatoes Support, Other Fixes

If you like to use Apple’s iTunes Movie Trailers app to watch trailers for upcoming movies, you’ll now have a slightly better experience doing so.

The iOS app has been updated to version 1.4, bringing with it a small handful of improvements. One of the biggest changes is that users will now be able to receive notifications whenever a favourited movie hits theaters or gets released in the iTunes Store.

Another notable change is that users can now read snippets of text reviews from top Rotten Tomatoes critics, while before the app only showed a film’s “fresh” score.

Here’s the official change log provided with the new update:

  • Add a movie to Favorites to be notified when it debuts in theaters or becomes available in the iTunes Store
  • Read critic reviews provided by Rotten Tomatoes for movies that are in theaters, right from the app
  • Share links to your favorite movie trailers using AirDrop
  • Additional bug fixes and performance improvements

If you’re low on money and want to take someone out on a date, just download the app for free and you can spend hours watching trailers together.
