Here’s The More Important News Stories You Missed Last Week

Likely the biggest story in Apple news this week was the launch of the Brazilian Apple Store, which welcomed 1500 fans to its grand opening. The iTunes festival is getting it’s first show stateside, as Apple announced they were debuting at SXSW this March. iOS 7.1 hasn’t yet been released to the public, but an SSL fix was pushed out to iOS, 7.06. The pre-party for the iWatch should lose a bit of steam, as studies show wearables aren’t quite the boom category they were anticipated to be. A couple of Apple patents drew some attention this week. The first was a patent showing a Macbook Pro with touch controls built into the case. The second was for an iPad that used magnets to connect to accessories.
