Keep Launching Control Center Instead of Camera.app On The Lock Screen? Here’s A Fix

As an avid iPhone photographer, I often find myself accessing my iPhone’s camera by flipping up on the bottom of the lock screen. However, after iOS 7 was released, I found that Control Center would frequently open instead of Camera.app as they use an almost identical gesture to open. Luckily for me (and many other iPhone photographers), there is a way to prevent this by disabling Control Center access from the lock screen.

To disable Control Center access from the lock screen, launch the Settings app on your iPhone and navigate to the Control Center screen. Towards the center of the window will be an option labeled Access on Lock Screen. Disable this option, and your days of accidentally toggling the Control Center instead of Camera.app are over.
