Apple Confirms Lucky Bag Sale For January 2nd In Japan

Apple has today confirmed that it will be selling Lucky Bags on January 2nd at its Japanese Apple Stores. The bag will retail for 36,000 yen, or roughly $345 USD. Lucky Bags are a tradition for many Japanese retailers where mystery bags are filled with products and generally sold for less than the value of the products inside.

In the past, Apple has offered everything from iPod touches to accessories to MacBooks in these bags. At Apple, Lucky Bag sales almost always cause huge lines, so if you plan on purchasing one, stop by your local Apple Store early.

Hey Apple, you should totally make this tradition a thing for the rest of the world.
