Apple Launches New iPad Version Of Its ‘Apple Store’ App

The iPad has finally gotten its own version of Apple’s popular Apple Store app.

Rather than adding iPad support to the current Apple Store app for iPhone, Apple has chosen to make the iPad version a completely different app. The app brings over the same functionality as from the iPhone version, only it chose to leave out the “in-store” features.

New to the app that isn’t in the iPhone version is a “Now Trending” section where users can see what Apple Store products are currently being most frequently purchased, shared, and reviewed. The app also takes advantage of the iPad’s screen and uses it to focus more on galleries of product photos and high quality images.

Download the app for free on iTunes.
