You Can Now Pay Path $14.99 To Breach Your Privacy…

What’s worse than a free service that eventually decides to start charging a yearly fee? How about a free service that’s been embroiled in controversy over its disregard for users privacy deciding that it’s time to charge $14.99 per year. Of course, we were told this update was coming months ago.

If you want access to all the bells and whistles like photo filters, and the complete library of virtual stickers, you can now pay $4.99 per quarter , or $14.99 per year for the service.

Actually, if you’re hoping for some form of privacy, the latest update to Path brings with it “Private Sharing” and “Inner Circles” that give users the ability to narrow in on who gets to see what they post on the social network.

Excuse me, I have to not go and sign up right now. It’s sad too. Path’s probably the best looking and has the best feature set of all the social networks. I just don’t trust them any more.
