Twitter #music App Updated With New Ways Of Discovering Tunes

If you listen to music a lot, then you know how quickly you can get bored of everything in your library, but you also know how exciting it is when you discover new artists and music. Well, today the Twitter #music app for iPhone has received an update that introduces a couple of new ways of discovering music.

In a previous update, Twitter introduced a genre selection feature to help you find new music and artists, but other than that there wasn’t much in the way of discovery options. Today’s update changes that. You can now listen to artist’s top tracks, similar artists, and the artists that your favorite artists follow on Twitter.

On top of that, you can also scan your iPhone’s music library now to get suggestions on artists that are relevant to you. The app will also show you artists that you’ve Tweeted about so you don’t forget about them.

Twitter #music still has a long way to go with competition like Spotify and Rdio, but with updates like this, it’s definitely on the right track.  Get the updated version of the app from the App Store now for free.
