Cycloramic Takes The Camera Out Of Your Control, Snaps Panos For You

Amid all the rumors of Apple working on new camera algorithms that may eventually eliminate your blurry photos, Cycloramic aims to take the camera out of your hands entirely, and provide you with automatic panoramic shots.

Apple’s panoramic feature in the Camera application is far from revolutionary or ground breaking. Cycloramic, on the other hand, is pretty spectacular. The application actually spins your phone around in a circle on its own (iPhone 5-only), using the vibrate on silent mode. It seems like voodoo magic, but honestly it works. We bought the app just to prove it to ourselves after checking the calendar to make sure it wasn’t April 1st.

It’s really hard to explain how this works, but it does, and it’s pretty damn cool. Check out the video above. It’ll make sense after that.

The app’s a buck on the App Store.
