New Apple Store Planned Near Princeton University

In an effort to further its global expansion, Apple is continuing to open new Apple stores around the world. The latest Apple retail store is planned to open near Princeton University. The Apple Store is planned for later this year near the Quaker Bridge Mall, which is about five miles away from the university.

Job listings for the store have recently appeared on Apple’s web site for “Princeton,” and now some are pointing to two spaces in the Simon Property Group mall, across from the Lord & Taylor store.

Other than Princeton, the area is also home to a number of international companies, like Dow Jones, Johnson & Johnson, Merril Lynch, and Bristol-Meyers Squibb.

More interestingly, the average household income for the area is about $104, 282, which is at the top of the scale for Apple’s retail chain.

The mall plan shows two spots facing a central plaza that could be combined for the Apple Store. Based on the hiring schedules of the job postings, it’s possible that the store could open in mid-July.
