Third Party Lightning Accessories Finally Hit Apple Stores

Certain accessories can totally change the enjoyment you get from your phone. That’s why it’s a big deal that third party accessories for Apple’s lightning port are finally hitting stores.

Apple has apparently had to ramp up its review process of Lightning accessories, which is what caused the delay in getting the officially approved accessories into stores. With a few products starting to show up now, mainly car chargers, we should start to see more of the lightning accessories show up within the coming weeks.

Many accessory manufacturers at CES said that their products were ready to go and that they were simply waiting for Apple’s licensing approval.

Lightning accessories can be used with Apple’s newest lineup of products that feature Lightning ports, such as the iPhone 5, the 4th Gen iPad, the iPad mini, the 5th Gen iPod touch and the 7th Gen iPod nano.
