The refurbished Mac mini now starts at only $469 and gives you a 2.5GHz dual-core Intel i5 CPU with 2GB of RAM and a 500GB hard drive. Like the rest of Apple’s refurbished lineup, these Mac minis come with a standard one-year Apple warranty free of charge. Here’s what you can get:

I personally use a low-end Mac mini on a daily basis to complement my MacBook Air for writing articles, web browsing and light photo editing. The machine is perfect for my uses, though I’d highly recommend purchasing additional memory from a third party as 2GB is barely enough to run OS X. But for just under $470, the refurbished Mac mini is a total steal if you’re looking to get into OS X for the first time. Make sure to act quickly as Mac mini deals tend to sell out quickly!
