NBA Joins MLB and NHL On The Apple TV For Some International Viewers

The Apple TV just scored another goal with sports aficionados abroad today. NBA International League Pass just showed up alongside the Major League Baseball and National Hockey League apps on the Apple TV in France as well as some other countries around the world.

Up until this point, League Pass was only available in the U.S., leaving international NBA fans out of the party and on the bench.

If you’re an NBA fan, and you’re looking for an excuse to buy an Apple TV, this may be your finally hurdle. Honestly, as a Canadian with the NHL Center Ice package on my Apple TV, I can’t illustrate how much of a game changer the service was for me. This kind of thing is the future, and now the NBA will be part of that for many international fans.

Props to the NBA.
