Like with all media events before this one, the online Apple Store has gone down so that Apple can make preparations for the release of new products. It will be back up at the end of today’s special event.
Apple is gearing up to take the stage at the California Theater in San Jose, with a start time of 10:00am Pacific/1:00pm Eastern. Apple is expected to finally confirm the existence of the rumored iPad mini, possibly one of Apple’s worst-kept secrets. A new 13-inch MacBook Pro with Retina display is also expected to debut, alongside new and updated iMacs.
