Apple Sneaks Hulu Plus On To The Apple TV Overnight

Apple has added a new channel to the Apple TV. For those that haven’t yet noticed, Hulu Plus is now available. Apple didn’t make a big announcement about this addition, which is both odd and why not many people know about it yet. Starting today you can get your Hulu videos alongside Netflix videos, that is, if you’re living in the good ole’ US of A. Hulu and Hulu Plus are unavailable to anyone outside of the country (unless you have an American VPN, but that’s an article for another day).

Hulu Plus is an online video subscription service with support from a lot of networks and studios. It’s available on the iPhone and iPad, as well as through other devices like Roku, which allows users to access Internet streamed video or audio services through their televisions. Until now it was curiously absent from the Apple TV.

According to MacRumors, Hulu Plus might not appear right away and some users may have to reboot their Apple TV for the channel to appear.
