New iPhone Design “Confirmed”?

A few weeks ago, uBreakiFix thought that they may have found a leaked iPhone “5” casing. This casing “leak” was believable for two reasons: the bottom of the case had a smaller dock connector and the front of the device appeared to have a larger screen. It would make sense for Apple to finally release an updated dock connector and larger screen as they have been using the same style connector since 2003 and same screen size since 2007. Also, these parts matched parts found by other sources such as 9to5mac.

These rumors seem to be coming closer to reality as Mobilefun thinks that they have confirmed the new iPhone’s design. So, how exactly have they “confirmed” the new design? Apparently Mobilefun spoke with an unnamed iPhone accessory manufacturer who has been working on new iPhone cases for some time. The manufacturer has given them copies of the leaked images, which we have posted above. Mobilefun has also listed other possible features of the new iPhone which include:

  1. The phone is much bigger, measuring 58.47 mm wide, 123.83 mm high and 7.6 mm thin. The screen is 4-inches.
  2. The earphone jack has been relocated to the bottom of the phone.
  3. The dock connector is much smaller, similar in size to micro USB.

What do you think of this possible leak of the new iPhone’s design? Do you like it, or will you be sticking with your 4S? Let us know in the comments.
