Spotify For Mac Gets A Much Needed Update

Spotify fans are being treated to an update today. The much needed update brings OS X and Windows users playlist based radio stations, instant search, new social buttons and sharing doohickeys.

While I haven’t used Spotify in ages — I’m an Rdio guy — the playlist radio stations is a much needed feature in the application. It’s kind of like iTunes Genius in that it builds out a playlist based on the track or album you’re listening to at the moment. How Spotify made it to 2012 without releasing that kind of functionality is beyond us at this point.

Anywho, you can get the update from directly within the Mac app, or you can head over to the website to get access to the download directly. It’s up to you. We’re not going to tell you what to do. Just get the update, like now.
