Easily Toggle Bluetooth On And Off

Turning on and off Bluetooth is a hassle. Bluetooth is incredibly helpful technology when you’re using it, but it does make your battery drain faster. When not in use, it is best that you turn it off. Too bad it requires so many taps in the Settings app.

Well, that is no longer the case. Bluetooth OnOff is a $0.99 application for iOS (iPad and iPhone optimized, even). In fact, you can even set this app to toggle the Bluetooth on or off just with a launch.

It really is surprising that Apple allowed this app through the judgement process. Even more surprising, how has Apple not made this process easier? Maybe the task bar? Quintuple tap the home button? Whatever it is, it is insane that Bluetooth isn’t easier to toggle by default.

So, what do you think? Is this worth $0.99? Sound off, folks. We want to hear from you. The easiest way to get in touch with us is Twitter. Our username is @macgasm. Tell us how this strikes you — maybe tell us what you think Apple could do to improve the out of box experience.
