Pump The Jams On Your iPad With Amplifiear

If you’ve ever played audio over the speaker in an iPad, you know that by itself, it can be rather, well, weak. But when you cup your hand over the back, you can direct the sound to greatly increase the volume. That’s where this wonderfully simple Kickstarter project comes in.

Amplifiear is beautiful in its simplicity. It is a small plastic cup that clips to your second or third generation iPad, and directs all of the sound towards your ears. It comes in red, green, blue, orange, white or black, and is available for only $20 USD with free shipping in the United States ($15 extra for international shipping). $35 will net you two of these devices. One for you, and one for your better half sounds pretty good. (Ha!)

As of publication, the Amplifiear is hovering about $400 of its $10,000 USD minimum funding goal, but fear not. Twenty-nine days remain until the due date is up. If this blows your skirt up, please don’t hesitate to pledge your heart out. This kind of neat accessory is the perfect product for a grass roots funding effort. You won’t see these at a Walmart or an Apple Store, but you can make it happen.
