You win some, you lose some. Today, Apple lost another bid to ban Samsung tablets in the Netherlands. Their stance? Copyright infringement of the iPad. However, the Dutch dismissed Apple’s appeal to a ruling last year that the Galaxy Tab 10.1 wasn’t a copy of the iPad.
This might be a bit upsetting for Apple, but they have won some cases. After all, this isn’t the only country they’re fighting in. Rather, the tech giant has been battling it out with Samsung in nearly a dozen countries on tablets and smartphones. After all, each company is fighting for that number one position in the industry. However, it’s hard to tell what the end result of this footsie game will be. I think it’s time to start tallying up the wins and loses.
