Good news, everyone — Apple’s iTunes Match, a service for keeping all of your music in the cloud for $25 USD per year, is now available in nineteen more countries. This addition puts the number of countries well over thirty.
As of today, iTunes Match is available in the following countries:
Unlike the digital locker services provided by Google and Amazon, iTunes Match scans your library, and automatically matches any song you own with a version already in the iTunes Store. Instead of having to upload your entire library for cloud hosting, you only have to upload the songs that aren’t sold by iTunes. This makes for a much quicker and less bandwidth intensive solution. Of course, the other major benefit is that iTunes Match is baked right into iTunes and iOS. Once you provide your Apple credentials, all of your music is available for streaming on your Mac, PC, iPad, iPhone, or iPod.
If you’re just now trying iTunes Match, jump in the comments to let us know what you think. We’ve been using it here in the US and Canada for a long while now, and it’s been fantastic.
