iPad 1 and 2 refurbs just a little bit cheaper today

If you’re looking to buy an iPad 2, and you don’t mind getting a refurbished device from Apple, you can now get a 16GB Wi-Fi iPad 2 for $419, an $80 discount, from Apple’s online refurb store.

Up until now, consumers were able to buy a refurbished iPad 2s at a $50 discount. The new deal is pretty nifty, and Apple has a pretty great track record when it comes to purchasing refurbished devices. If you’re looking at buying a model larger in than the introductory Wi-Fi model, Apple’s offers up to $100 discounts on some other models. If you’re really looking for an excellent deal, and you don’t mind getting a first-generation iPad, you can walk away with a 32 GB, 3G enabled iPad for $399, a savings of $230.00.

Apple tests all the devices quit thoroughly before shipping them out to customers again, so you’re pretty much getting a high-quality, problem-free, used iPad. Like all refurbs, supply is limited, so the discount could only last as long as these particular devices are still on shelves.
