Support cancer research with Steve’s favs

Steve is gone, but the tributes keep coming. If you’ve been reading Steve Jobs’ biography by Walter Isaacson, you’ll know that he talks with Steve about all sorts of things, including books and music that Steve was influenced by.

iOS game developer Villain has taken those albums and books mentioned in the biography and created a page called Steve’s Favorites. There you can browse through each selection, and read an excerpt from the biography where Steve talks about that song or book.

Profits from the affiliate link income will go to cancer research.

The list contains 56 items, with six books and 50 albums or songs. There are a lot of Dylan, Beatles and Rolling Stones albums represented here, as well as the book that Jobs read once a year, “Autobiography of a Yogi”.

If you’re interested in any of these things that Jobs mentions in his biography, and you’re going to buy them anyway, check it out, and you’ll be giving some money to cancer research. Or better yet, donate all the money you would have spent on buying these books to cancer research, if you want to make more of a difference.
