New Stores in China opened to amazing reception

Two new Apple Retail Stores opened this past week in China, one of which was in Shanghai, which received an amazing reception of over 100,000 visitors during the first weekend!

To put this into perspective, Tim Cook reminds us that it took the Los Angeles Apple Store a month to reach 100,000 visitors.

The second opening was in Hong Kong. The Hong Kong store sold more Macs on opening day than any other Apple Store in the world.

These new store openings brings the total to 357, with stores spanning 11 countries. There are still more stores on deck, which a video shown at the Let’s Talk Apple event pegs as “Many more”.
